A training flight took an unexpected turn when a Cessna 172 plane crashed into an agricultural area in Iba, Zambales. Instructor and 3 student pilots hurt.

The individuals involved were identified as flight instructor Captain Jacques Robert V. Papio, and student pilots Angelo Josh Quinsasay, Althea Kisses Nuñez, and Jericho Palma. All four were on board the plane, which had the tail number RPC 2211.

The aircraft, owned by a local company, was reportedly taking off after arriving from Olongapo City when the accident occurred. While the exact cause is still under investigation, authorities confirmed the victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Raul del Rosario has ordered a thorough investigation by the aircraft accident investigation board to determine the cause of the crash.
