3 rivers in Olongapo rise to warning level due to nonstop rains
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Three rivers in Olongapo City rose to a warning level on Wednesday, Sept. 4, due to torrential rains spawned by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm Enteng.
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Three rivers in Olongapo City rose to a warning level on Wednesday, Sept. 4, due to torrential rains spawned by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm Enteng.
Data from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) showed that the water level underneath the Sta Rita Bridge at 1 p.m. was at 1.7 meters, the Del Rosario Bridge at 1.6 meters, and the Kalaklan Bridge at 1.9 meters.
In an earlier advisory at 11 a.m., the water level underneath the Kalaklan Bridge was at 1.6 meters or already at a warning level, while the water level underneath Sta. Rita Bridge and Del Rosario Bridge were at a normal level.
There are still no classes for all levels in both public and private schools in the city on Wednesday.
